Works great and just as promised. Have an older workhorse printer (HP Laserjet 5) with a parallel cable and this converter worked perfectly the first time and works for my desktop and laptop. Printer prints great and has lots of life so happy to find a cable that works so easily.

Worked great on a new PC running Windows 7 with an old HP Laserjet 4L. I just plugged it in and the PC immediately recognized the printer in the control pannel and I started printing. I did not need to load any drivers or do any configuration.
