The only small glitch I had was with Windows 7... it initially indicated:
The drivers for your HP product are already included in the new Windows 7 operating system! You do not need to download drivers to use the product. Keep reading to learn how to install the drivers that are included in Windows 7 (in-OS drivers) with your HP product.
However, since my printer wasn't working, I eventually installed the specific driver for my "HP DeskJet 820Cse" printer and was excited to see that my printer was now working with my new Windows 7 PC.

Despite my reluctance to buy this product after reading a couple bad reviews, I'm really glad I went through with the purchase. Item arrived in a timely fashion and I didn't even need to use the CD since I'm running Win7. Great solution for $15 including shipping, when the only cable like this at my local B-Buy cost $35 !!! Thanks Sabrent!

I was so happy to find this cable, as I purchased a new laptop and could not use my old printer.
This cable works great! I had a little trouble with the drivers installing on windows 7, but windows
update fixed that problem! I would recommend this to all those who want to keep their old printers!

I failed to see what was missing in the description, but apparently this type of cable does not work with Windows 7. Waste of $10 for me, gave to a friend who runs XP on his machines.

I had no issues getting this to work with an old printer on Vista. I have since upgraded both my printer and operating system so that I don't need this anymore, but it worked for years when I had it.
